Many men may not feel safe talking with others, particularly if they have experienced trauma, grief, or shame. Often, even those they are closest to may not understand or know the depth of their pain or issue.

Many men may feel that they are burdening others with their problems, and may try to solve their challenges on their own, which may lead to deeper struggles and, at times, anxiety, addiction, or depression. I work with men to create  a safe and empathetic place for you to share your thoughts, feelings, and struggles.  We will work together to  come up with solutions for coping tools and resources to help manage life’s challenges. I believe in looking at the client holistically and managing symptoms prior to working on goals.

I also work with couples to help them understand themselves better and their role within the relationship. My goal is to create an open, non-judgmental place for healing, whether working with an individual or couple.

Favourite Book Recommendation: Anything by Gabor Mate - I believe in his philosophy as he comes from a non-judgmental place of empathy and cares about others.
