Registered Social Worker
Life can be messy, complicated, and overwhelming—and when you’ve been handling everything on your own, reaching out for support is an important and courageous step. As a Registered Social Worker with over eight years of experience, I’ve walked alongside men through some of their toughest moments, from relationship struggles and family conflicts to mental health challenges, trauma, and addictions. My background includes work in correctional institutions, outpatient mental health programs, substance use treatment centers, and early frontline experience in child protection—giving me a deep, firsthand understanding of complex family systems, systemic pressures, and the long-term impact of childhood adversity.
Because of this, trauma-focused work—especially supporting men who grew up in chaotic, unpredictable, or emotionally unsafe environments—has become a central area of my practice. Many of the men I work with are navigating the lasting effects of childhood trauma, including difficulties with trust, emotional regulation, identity, attachment, and feeling secure in relationships. Others come in with concerns around communication, intimacy, infidelity, betrayal, anger, anxiety, depression, stress, addictions, self-esteem, or major life transitions. No matter what brings you here, I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
My approach is integrative and tailored to each person. I use trauma-informed and strength-based practices alongside evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Together, we look beyond immediate challenges and focus on healing the deeper roots—building lasting confidence, strengthening boundaries, improving communication, and creating actionable, realistic goals that align with the life you want to build.
Change isn’t always easy, but with the right support, it becomes possible—and sustainable. If you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply, break long-standing patterns, and create a life and relationships that feel more grounded, meaningful, and authentic, it would be an honor to walk alongside you in that process.
