Registered Social Worker
With over eight years of experience as a Registered Social Worker, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals across a variety of clinical settings, including correctional institutions, outpatient mental health programs, and substance use treatment centers. My background as a Family Service Worker and Child Protection Worker has given me a strong understanding of complex family dynamics, systemic challenges, and the resilience it takes to navigate them.
My work focuses on helping men navigate life’s struggles, particularly around relationships and personal growth. I specialize in supporting clients with concerns such as relationship and communication challenges, infidelity, betrayal, and trauma. Many of my clients also come to me for support with anger management, anxiety and depression, stress management, substance and behavioural addictions, self-esteem, and life transitions.
I am deeply committed to creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. My therapeutic approach is flexible and integrative, drawing on strength-based and trauma-informed practices, as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Beyond addressing immediate concerns, I work with clients to build vital life skills — fostering self-esteem, setting healthy boundaries, improving communication, and creating actionable goals. Seeking support is a courageous step, and I am dedicated to walking alongside my clients as they heal, grow, and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others.
