Associate Psychotherapist

Registered Psychotherapist

Acknowledging that you need support to navigate life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. Sometimes it feels easier to keep pushing forward rather than pausing and admitting that change is needed. My role as a therapist is to support you in taking that first step with courage, while offering a soft and steady landing as we begin your therapeutic journey together.

I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space where clients can explore their experiences openly. My approach is person-centered, focused on building a trusting connection, while also drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

In my clinical work, I support clients facing a variety of challenges. I have experience with addiction, including concerns related to alcohol, drugs, nicotine, and gambling, as well as ADHD through practical skill-building, structure, relationship support, and emotional regulation. I also work with anxiety in its many forms—including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, and patterns of worry and rumination—along with depression, whether short-term or long-standing. Many of my clients also come to me for support with relationships and codependency, where I help with communication skills, attachment patterns, and navigating attachment trauma.

Beyond this, I work with clients on strengthening self-esteem, confidence, and emotional resilience, while providing tools for distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and emotional intelligence. I also support those navigating grief and loss, anger, sleep challenges such as insomnia, and major life transitions, including work or school stress, balance, and positive habit-building.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you become a calmer, more centered version of yourself—equipped with the tools to confidently take on life’s challenges and reconnect with who you want to be. If this approach resonates with you, I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation call so we can explore how we might work together.

Favourite Book: Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown. I am a huge fan of many of her works, however this 2021 title stands out above the rest. I find it to be equal parts profound, riveting, accessible, digestible, insightful, and enlightening. It is something I highly recommend to anyone looking to enrich their emotional intelligence and better learn the language of their feelings.
