I work with men who feel stuck—stuck in their heads, in old patterns, or in lives that look successful on the outside but feel disconnected on the inside. Many of the men I support carry the quiet weight of expectations: to be strong, composed, high-achieving, and self-sufficient—no matter the cost.

For men from racialized communities, immigrant families, or minority backgrounds, that pressure can be even heavier. Navigating cultural expectations, code-switching, systemic barriers, workplace bias, academic stress, and the unspoken responsibility to “make it” can create a deep internal strain. Over time, that strain can show up as burnout, anxiety, shame, emotional numbness, or a lingering sense of not fully belonging.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in engineering and leadership development, coaching professionals to lead with clarity and self-awareness. That experience allows me to understand the unique pressures of high-performance environments—corporate settings, professional schools, and competitive academic spaces—especially for those who feel they must constantly prove themselves.

My work is grounded in creating a space where you don’t have to perform. A space where you can take off the armor.

Inspired by thinkers like Terrence Real, I’ve seen how emotional suppression and internalized shame—particularly among men taught to be silent about pain—can mask deeper struggles. I’m especially passionate about supporting men from immigrant, first-generation, and racialized backgrounds who are navigating identity, belonging, and cultural expectations while trying to build meaningful, authentic lives.

Together, we’ll work to:

  • Make sense of your emotional world

  • Understand how minority stress and systemic pressures impact your mental health

  • Reduce the internal pressure to always be “on” or “ahead”

  • Navigate workplace or school challenges with confidence and self-trust

  • Clarify what truly matters to you—and begin living in alignment with those values

I draw from CBT, EFT, existential, and narrative approaches, tailoring the process to your story and lived experience. Whether you're facing burnout, career uncertainty, cultural identity conflict, relationship struggles, or simply a quiet sense that something feels off, we’ll approach it with curiosity, compassion, and depth.

My hope is that through our work, you feel more grounded in who you are, more connected to others, and more at home in your own identity—without having to shrink, hide, or carry it all alone.
