Psychotherapy is one of the most profoundly rewarding, meaningful and impactful journeys one can take. However long our time together, whether for support through a difficult time or for medium to longer-term work, my aim is to help you more fully meet, process, feel through, confront and get to the root cause of the blocks/issues that get in the way of the realization of who you truly are, and long to become. We do this in the context of a secure, dynamic and authentic therapeutic relationship that gradually develops as we meet for the purposes of your healing.

My path has taken me through a career in the arts, academia, and years of study and personal work in the depth psychological traditions of Jungian and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. From this, I weave into my therapeutic approach a focus on attachment, relationships, meaning, and explorations of the psyche and its symbolic dimensions, including dreams, fantasy, music & art.

The truth of this work is that when you begin to process and gain insight about the thoughts, emotions, and conflicts that cause you suffering, when you “make the unconscious conscious”, symptoms begin to fade, are replaced by self-knowledge and meaning, and your natural abilities for creative adaptation and change can progress. In short: you can heal.
